Shipping
We ship on Mondays only, to ensure as best we can that your tree will not sit in a hot warehouse over the weekend. Trees are packed with a wrapped rootball (not in a nursery container) and surrounded by Styrofoam peanuts, to maximize water retention. We typically ship via UPS, but if you prefer USPS or Fedex let us know. Also, if you want express shipment please call us, as shipping charges may be higher.
Terms
All materials must be paid for prior to shipment, unless we have a prior agreement in place. We currently use PayPalTM for all direct website orders. If you'd prefer to pay via credit card, call 225-784-2168 to place your order. We accept MasterCardTM, VisaTM, American ExpressTM, and DiscoverTM. We also accept payments by check or money order. If paying by check, please allow time for your check to clear.

Reserving Trees
You can reserve any tree with a 25% deposit or $50, whichever is greater. The deposit is refundable, in the event we are unable to provide the tree for whatever reason. Any balance due on reserved trees must be paid within six months unless otherwise arranged.
Refunds/Exchanges and Returns
If your tree arrives crisp and brown, then we will replace it, refund your money or offer you a store credit. We have almost never had a tree die in transit, so this is very unlikely to occur. Usually the cause is poor delivery service, which results in the tree sitting somewhere for an excessive period of time.
Special Note on Certain Shipments
If you live outside the fire ant quarantine areas of the country, the soil mass of your tree will have been treated with BifenthrinTM per the USDA APHIS program requirements. There may be residual chemical in the soil mass upon arrival, therefore we recommend the precaution of wearing protective gloves when potting up your tree. You can drench the soil to wash out the residual chemical.
